BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Hoffman received his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in 2010, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Hoffman was an active member of the Moot Court Association and served on the Executive Board as a co-author for the Robert F. Wagner National Labor & Employment Law Moot Court Competition. Mr. Hoffman also was a finalist at the Federal Bar Association Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C. He then gained invaluable experience as an intern at the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of New York, Civil Division.
Mr. Hoffman has been a partner at this firm since 2016 and has trial and appellate experience, including briefing and arguing the “grave injury” issue under the Workers’ Compensation Law. Mr. Hoffman is also a frequent author and lecturer for the New York Insurance Association, where he presents on a variety of topics ranging from indemnification issues, the intersection of the Labor Law and Workers’ Compensation, and the prevalence of third-party litigation funding.
